The Dundas Tennis Club is a community-based club that was established in 1924 in the Dundas Driving Park. The Club originally built its courts in what is now referred to as “The Cove” in the Park, moving to its current location several decades later. This outdoor club has 5 asphalt based hard courts, with 3 of them recently rebuilt and resurfaced with "Plexicushion" sub-surface in blue/green. The feedback from members has been enthusiastic and positive, with comments ranging from “the new courts feel good on my knees,” to “the new courts are a pleasure to play on.” We are working towards redoing the 2 remaining courts in the near future. The Dundas Tennis Club is an extremely active Club with several leagues to choose from, monthly ladders, and our ever-popular - often themed - Friday Night Social Tennis - a weekly doubles mixer event. Annual tournaments are held in Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Vets. Special Social events are planned for 2017 to celebrate Roland Garros (French Open), Roger's Cup, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. Planning is underway for our year-end dinner/dance. Our Junior Programme continues to expand with after school academy, camps, house league, junior tournaments, and the ever-popular Junior-Senior Tournament. The Club is overseen by a ten member executive who volunteers their time to oversee the Club’s operations. The day-to-day operations are under the Club Manager.
